CANCELLATION PRIOR TO SERVICE COMMENCEMENT

  1. If you cancel your booking before the course/service begins, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund depending on the timing:
    • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the course start date: Full refund
    • Cancellations within 7 days of the course start date: 50% refund
    • No refunds for no-shows or cancellations after the course has commenced

  3. For instructor certification courses, special cancellation terms apply:
    • Cancellations more than 14 days before: Full refund
    • Cancellations 7-14 days before: 50% refund
    • Cancellations less than 7 days before: No refund

RETURN POLICY (FOR EQUIPMENT PURCHASES)

  1. Physical products purchased from 23 Marlin Dive Centre may be returned if:
    • The item is incorrect (wrong size/color/model)
    • The item is damaged upon arrival
    • The item is defective
  2. Return conditions:
    • Must be requested within 7 working days of receipt
    • Must be in original condition with all packaging
    • Must include proof of purchase
    • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  3. Non-returnable items:
    • Custom or personalized equipment
    • Used/damaged items not in original condition
    • Items purchased through third-party retailers

REFUND POLICY

  1. Service refunds (courses/trips):
    • Will be processed within 7-10 business days after approval
    • Issued via original payment method
    • May take additional time to appear in your account depending on your financial institution
  2. Equipment refunds:
    • Full refund issued after inspection of returned goods
    • Processing time: 3-5 business days after receipt
    • Credit card refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear
  3. Non-refundable items:
    • Completed services/courses
    • Digital products
    • Gift certificates

SHIPPING POLICY (FOR EQUIPMENT)

  1. Shipping Address:
    • We ship to valid addresses in Malaysia (no P.O. boxes)
    • Customers must provide accurate, complete shipping information
    • We are not responsible for delays due to incorrect addresses
  2. Shipping Time:
    • In-stock items: 2-5 working days (Peninsular Malaysia)
    • Out-of-stock items: Please contact us for estimated delivery
    • International shipping available at additional cost
  3. Change Requests:
    • Address changes must be requested within 12 hours of order placement
    • Late changes may incur additional shipping fees

SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR DIVING TRIPS

  1. Ocean trip cancellations:
    • More than 30 days before: Full refund
    • 15-30 days before: 50% refund
    • Less than 15 days before: No refund
    • Subject to operator policies at destination
  2. Trip insurance strongly recommended
  3. Itinerary changes may occur due to weather/conditions

GENERAL TERMS

    • Refuse service/refund if terms are violated
    • Charge for re-delivery due to customer error
